Overview
Career Transition Studio is a one-person coaching practice based in New Hampshire. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit careertransitionstudio.com, how it is used, and what choices you have. The goal is to be straightforward about a simple data picture: this site does not use advertising, does not sell data, and does not track visitors with analytics tools.
Information Collected Through the Contact Form
The contact form on this site asks for your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. It also includes a dropdown to indicate which service you are curious about, and a free-text field where you can share anything you would like before we connect.
This information is used for one purpose: to follow up with you and schedule a conversation. It is not added to any mailing list, shared with third parties, or used for marketing.
Form submissions are stored temporarily in the site’s database and deleted automatically after 90 days. If you become a client, any ongoing communication is handled through standard email and falls outside the scope of this policy.
Google reCAPTCHA
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated spam submissions. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and behavior — including IP address and browser characteristics — and sends it to Google for analysis. This happens when you load the contact page, whether or not you complete the form.
This data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, available at google.com/policies/privacy. Career Transition Studio does not receive or retain the data reCAPTCHA collects.
When you contact us through the form, your message is delivered to a Microsoft 365 email account. Email transmission is handled through FluentSMTP using Microsoft’s servers. No third-party email marketing service is used, and you will not be added to any distribution list.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. WordPress, the platform on which this site is built, sets session cookies for logged-in administrators only — these are not set for general visitors.
LiteSpeed, the web server used by this site’s host, may use server-side caching to improve page load speed. This does not involve cookies visible to visitors.
Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies as part of its bot-detection process. See the Google reCAPTCHA section above for details.
This site’s fonts are hosted locally on this server rather than loaded from Google’s font servers, so visiting this site does not send a request to Google for typography.
Google Search Console
This site is connected to Google Search Console, a tool that provides information about how the site appears in Google search results — for example, which search terms bring visitors to the site and how pages are indexed. Search Console collects aggregate site performance data. It does not collect personally identifiable information about individual visitors, and Career Transition Studio does not have access to individual visitor records through this tool.
No Analytics
This site does not use Google Analytics or any other visitor analytics platform. No individual browsing behavior is tracked or recorded.
Data Security
Career Transition Studio takes reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this site. Form submissions are stored in a secured WordPress database, access to which is limited to the site administrator. Transmission of form data uses HTTPS encryption.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you have concerns about sending sensitive information through the form, you are welcome to reach out by other means.
Canadian Visitors
Career Transition Studio works with clients across North America, including Canada. If you are a Canadian resident, your personal information is handled in a manner consistent with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Information collected through this site is used only for the purposes described in this policy, and is not shared, sold, or used for secondary purposes without consent.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. Career Transition Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please use the privacy enquiry form and the information will be deleted.
Third-Party Links
This site may contain links to external websites. Career Transition Studio is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourages you to review their policies independently.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
